In the case of industrial facilities, we recommend the use of air curtains to reduce and minimise heat loss between spaces of different temperatures when opening a door/gate installed in an opening. Their use is particularly recommended for openings with dense pedestrian or forklift traffic, where the PVC curtain may be torn down by forklifts.

The high performance import structures, specifically designed for industrial and refrigerated spaces, with low power consumption (230V-50Hz), quiet operation and a particularly powerful blower air velocity, block the outflow air path, even in extremely large openings. Depending on the application, the air curtains can be either painted (RAL 9016 white) or inox 4301 stainless steel, and can be operated by remote control or by means of an operating switch, which must be coordinated with the door installed in the opening. The rectangular air curtain shall be mounted directly above the opening, preferably with some overhang in relation to the width of the opening, but vertical installation is also possible where space is limited. The exact type of air curtain will be determined by the size of the opening and the temperature of the spaces/rooms to be separated, so please specify the exact opening size and the environmental conditions when requesting a quotation.

For openings of smaller widths and heights, we recommend our self-manufactured air curtains, 400mm diameter, cylindrical in shape, fully stainless steel clad, available at a competitive price, in single or twin motor (0.55kw) versions. This type is recommended up to a maximum height of 2.5m, due to the less powerful air velocity. As with the rectangular high performance structure, this curtain should be installed directly above the opening, preferably with some overhang in relation to the width of the opening, but can also be installed upright if space is not available above the opening.
